Project Idea
This project focuses on creating a visual identity for a Protestant church that is oriented towards young people. It includes the development of a logo, brand identity, packaging, posters, and promotional materials. The primary goal is to create a modern and appealing image of the church that attracts young people and makes them active members of the community.
Founded by a group of young ukranian and russian activists, Radiant Church was born from the idea that faith should be accessible, engaging, and inspiring for a new generation. With a focus on community, creativity, and compassion, Radiant Church offers a welcoming space where people can explore spirituality in a modern and dynamic way. Through events, mentorship, and acts of service, the church seeks to light the path for those searching for meaning, connection, and purpose in today's world.
We decided to start with next tasks:

I started with small mood board from pictures sent me and found the whole atmosphere - kindness, nature, balance between tradition and modern things and open-minded vision on this topic
logo
Brief - modern, minimalist, symbolizing light, unity, and inspiration.
The church should be perceived as an open, warm, and contemporary space where young people can find support, inspiration, and opportunities for self-realization. Key themes: light, nature, community, creativity, inspiration, belonging.
logo creation process
I decided to illustrate the star of bethlehem as a symbol of light and separate it to 4 parts to display kind of cross shape in the center of the logo. Then I deleted 2 parts out of 4 and created an option from 2 reflected parts - it’s still looks like a star but cross is more unobtrusive in this case.Last 2 option from my sketch were proposed to client and option from two parts was chosen.Than I added logotype which also was approved.
color palette

Three main colors were chosen - blue, gold yellow and white. Blue as a symbol of inner peace, calmness and as a sight of Maria in religion. Yellow as a symbol og light and sun. Both these colors create inspirational, calm and friendly atmosphere.
I also create a logo pattern and some cute graphic elements with lamb, bird and stars to use it in different projects.Than we started create poster to nest event for community. It looks super friendly and attractive to instagram lovers who want to post some cute things - free promotion.
